It turned out that Delta Constable Steve Parker had looked up the records to assist his mother, who was secretary of the anti-abortion group Campaign Life Coalition of B.C. (Steve Parker was the group&#039;s treasurer.) Four investigations ensued. This early story shows how valuable FOI can be used to uncover the misuse of power in the form of governmental invasion of citizens&#039; privacy.
