Endemol always looking for ways to dig deeper into the cesspool in the name of entertainment may have topped itself this go round.
The Big Donor Show has a 37 year old terminally ill woman decide who gets her kidneys. She will “make her choice based on the contestants’ history, profile and conversation with their family and friends.
Viewers will also be able to send in their advice by text message during the 80-minute show.”
Reality shows for exhibitionists and B list celebrities is bad enough, but this is a whole new level of low.

But really could they be much worse than current world leaders? 😉
My theory is this is how the poor will get to access health care after everything is privatized.

I’m glad somebody else is blogging about this.
Great post…and here’s a theory for you: Endemol is leading some nefarious plot to make everyone stupid, and therefore vulnerable to a global coup where are leaders are replaced by vapid reality show contestants. Just a theory.

Unbelievable. 😯
Have you heard of the global trade in organs?
Hmm…politics already seem like a ‘reality’ to show to me.

Hi, I’m dropping by because of Dewey’s blogroll game at Hidden Side of a leaf. I agree with you about how terrible this show is. The craziest part is that the creators say they’re doing it in order to raise awareness for the organ shortage — it’s for a good cause, don’t be so alarmed. 🙄
April Reign says
Quite charitable of them isn’t it? 🙄
Thanks for dropping by!
