Hyperbole…only a little. At the premiere of Horton Hears a Who foetus fetishers crashed the event and started chanting and protesting. Using the ‘a person is a person no matter how small’ as their springboard. This by the way in direct violation of the wishes of the man who penned those words.
The theme of the movie is based on the motto: “After all, a person is a person, no matter how small.” So the pro-lifers thought it was a good idea to use this theme to their advantage — even though their complicated message was falling mostly on the ears of children.
Once again we see that for the anti choicers it isn’t about the children, it’s about control.
No Matter How Small says
319. We believe this movie to be prophetic. To speak to peoples hearts and to give voice to the voiceless. Just as Horton was the only one who could hear the whos, only those “that have ears to hear” hear the cries of the unborn asking for Life. Just as the kangaroo said if we can’t see them if we can’t hear them and if we can’t feel them they don’t exist, so it goes with people who stand for “choice” when they determined in 1973 that a fetus is not a person. I do understand the high emotions involved with this issue but a huge lie and subsequent mass murder has been in effect since that time. Horton risked his life and social status to bring the truth to light and that is what we are praying to do. We are a family who has been blessed by adopting a beautiful interracial child, to think of her her not making it into this world makes us shudder and to think of the millions of those who never made it out of their mother’s wombs is horrifing. We pray for revelation of truth and the blinders of deception to be removed from our country and for God’s mercy on our nation. Although I disagree with the statements made that there were mostly children there, our children need to know the truth. They are being fed lies through our school system they are being forcefed sexual immorality of all kinds daily. But it is so sad to me that if people gather to say to let the children live and a life is a life no matter how small, people go insane with anger! When sin is exposed it is uncomfortable for those unwilling to change. So yes we will stand and cry out we will pound the heavens with our prayers and yes get the truth out in the theaters and anywhere else we are led. We are peaceful and we go with the love of God in our hearts. For anyone who has had an abortion, there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus just ask Him into your heart and ask for His forgiveness He died for us when we were still in our sin. He loves you with an everlasting Love. This has NOTHING to do with control it has to do with humanity being saved and these children who have been given life by Almighty God to be born and live their lives.

That kind of shmaltzy suckass comment always brings something home to me.
The disingenuous, DISHONEST, blatantly f*cked upedness of the Fetishists.
22,000 children in Canada alone are WAITING to be adopted. MILLIONS all over the fucking world. When there is a shortage of unloved, unwanted children? I may think about ONE of your points.
Otherwise. Blow it.

Lard Jeebzuz, almighty, NMHS, not everyone on the planet believes there is a god! And certainly, not everyone wants to believe in your judgemental god. Most people on the planet don’t even see abortion as a sin. So, why don’t you take your proselytizing and stick it where the sun don’t shine?

‘Scuse me. Pregnancy is not caused by “Almighty God”, it happens when a sperm meets an egg. Almighty God has zip to do with any of it. When the soap salespeople of the righteous right have adopted, accepted, and started loving all the kids presently awaiting adoption, and when they have, individually and as an organized group, decried and moved to stop the slaughter of tens and even hundreds of thousands of children being turned to gore in war zones around the world, I might begin to feel some respect for them.
It is so easy to go to a movie house and chant in a gleeful group, thus puzzling and probably scaring an audience of little kids. It is also inappropriate, unhelpful, and childish.
If you want to sermonize get yourself ordained, find a site, and recruit a congregation of like-minded lizard-brained dipshits. And stay away from me and mine. If ever one of mine decide abortion is her choice, I will accompany her to the clinic or hospital. And if any of you absolute arstles try, in any way at all, to hinder, harrass, or impede her, you will not be dealing with a pacifist. You want to exhibit wing-nuttery? You have no idea the wing-nuttery you will encounter if you start in on one of mine.
“If any of you are reason why even one of these, my lambs, turneth away from me it would be better for you had you never been born.”
People like you are why I wouldn’t set foot in your church.
Pity abortion isn’t retroactive.
