What is up with the feminist baby eaters? Why are they so cranky? Must be “that” time of the month.

Let me try and explain it in small easily digestible pieces. This isn’t about making friends, or appealing to those who are fucking clueless about lifes realities. This is about fighting against a belief that things were better when men were men, sheep were nervous and women had no control over the number of babies they had and were denied abortions even to save their lives.

This is about dealing with those who post comments in support of women dying and doctors being killed on ones blog. I usually just delete them. Court rules on Pot Supply

Good news for those needing medical marijuana Judge Barry Strayer has ruled;

“In my view it is not tenable for the government, consistently with the right established in other courts for qualified medical users to have reasonable access to marijuana, to force them either to buy from the government contractor, grow their own or be limited to the unnecessarily restrictive system of designated producers,”

His ruling provides those partaking of medical marijuana greater freedom in actually purchasing or growing and providing the herb.

“(It was) constitutionally suspect from the beginning,” said lawyer Alan Young, who argued in court on behalf of the sick.

“My position always was that if you’re going to do something like that, you’d better have an adequate alternative.”

Ottawa could either rewrite the regulations, come up with a new ratio, “or they can simply leave it as an open market so that people who are experienced and have the right secure facility will be able to apply to grow for 10 patients, 20 patients,” Young said.

Good behaviour and conventional social standards. So in other words when Sir Rodmond Roblin stated, ‘”nice” women weren’t interested in voting’ McClung should have recognized that she wasn’t bringing the middle ground to her side and should have gone home and baked a pie.

Perhaps we should be nice like the anti choice side

* December 18, 1996: Dr. Calvin Jackson of New Orleans, Louisiana was stabbed 15 times, losing 4 pints of blood. Donald Cooper was charged with second-degree attempted murder and sentenced to 20 years.[11]
* October 28, 1997: A physician whose name has not been revealed was shot in his home in Rochester, New York.
* January 29, 1998: Emily Lyons, a nurse, was severely injured in the bombing which also killed Robert Sanderson.
* September 11, 2006 David McMenemy attempted a suicide bombing of a women’s clinic in Davenport, Iowa after scouting targets throughout the Midwest. It was later revealed that the targeted clinic did not perform or make referrals for abortions.

What about calls of murders, child killers, sinners, culture of death?

Those of us who see the damage done when women have their choices removed are far more interested in protection of reproductive liberty, than the wishy washy support of those who can’t bring themselves to fully support women’s rights.

As Nellie McClung intoned;

This post will deal mainly with Ontario, though I would imagine similar situations are happening across the country.

In Ontario workers rights are being eroded at an alarming rate, most especially by the huge increase in Temporary Labour placement companies and their use by employers.

Temporary agencies, which require no licence to start up, are flourishing in Ontario where there are now 4,200 such businesses generating $6 billion a year in revenue. Yet Ontario’s Employment Standards Act, brought in 60 years ago to safeguard workers’ basic rights, makes no mention of them

Temporary Agencies often do not provide proper training, do not provide benefits, do not provide the usual workplace protections from firing, and routinely refuse to pay stat holidays.

Now, when employers are caught, the fines range from only $250 to $1,000. While the labour ministry found employers violated employees’ rights in 11,358 claims last year and that almost $37 million in unpaid wages and benefits was owed to those workers, only four companies and two directors were charged.

More Da Vinci secrets revealed. Apparently it’s all done with smoke and mirrors.

“It is easy to find invisible images in Leonardo’s paintings. Many of his characters seem to be staring into space. In reality, they are indicating where one must place the mirror to visualize the images,” Conti told Discovery News.

When applied to Da Vinci’s painting “Saint Anne, the Virgin and Child,” on display at London’s National Gallery, a mirror reveals a figure which some cynical observers say looks like the Star Wars character Darth Vader.

According to Conti, the image resembles the ancient Old Testament god Jahveh, who represents the human mind’s struggles against the vices of the body.
